Cancellation, Deposits & Refunds
Last updated October 27, 2026
How deposits, cancellations, date changes and refunds work for client bookings and worker memberships.
Deposits
For larger events we may ask for a deposit to hold the crew. The amount and due date are listed in your quote. Your booking is confirmed once the quote is approved and any deposit is paid.
The remaining balance is invoiced as stated in your quote, usually after the event.
Client cancellations
You can cancel a request from the client portal or by contacting us. Cancelling early gives us time to release workers; the notice period and any cancellation fees are stated in your quote.
Deposits cover the cost of scheduling and holding workers, so they may not be refundable after the notice period in your quote.
Date or headcount changes
Tell us as soon as possible. We'll try to move your crew to the new date or adjust headcount and will confirm any price change in writing before it applies.
If CGH cancels
If we can't provide the staff we confirmed, we'll tell you as soon as possible and refund any amounts paid for the staff we couldn't provide.
Weather and events beyond anyone's control
If an event is cancelled because of weather, emergencies or venue closures, contact us right away. We'll work with you to reschedule where possible; charges for workers already en route or on site may apply as stated in your quote.
Worker membership
You can cancel your worker membership renewal at any time from the worker portal. Cancelling stops future renewals. Questions about refunds for a membership year already paid can be sent to us by email.
